A suspect has been charged in the killing of a Vietnamese running girl who went missing from a San Diego restaurant.
Khao Nhuan Huong, a 23-year-old former San Diego City College student, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of murder and kidnapping.
He is expected to make an initial court appearance on Monday, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
According to the DA’s office, Huong left a restaurant in San Diego on June 3 and never returned.
She was last seen wearing a green dress, dark lipstick and red lipstick.
She is believed to have been working as a cook at a Vietnamese restaurant near the intersection of Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard.
Her boyfriend, Joshua Duong, 23, is accused of killing her and taking her money.
He was arrested on suspicion that he killed her, according a news release from the DA office.
The pair is expected in court on Monday.
The DA’s Office says a reward of up to $1 million is being offered for information leading to the arrest of Duong.
